The Swift Creek Regatta is an annual competition between Brandermill Sailing Club and the Greater Richmond Sailing Association (GRSA). The clubs compete as a team and the winning team gets the honor of displaying the Swift Creek Cup until the following year when it once again is up for grabs. Each year the hosting of the event rotates. BSC won the trophy in the 2010 event. One of the race traditions is to have a champagne toast to the winners. The champagne is sipped from the Swift Creek Cup trophy.

The Frostbite Regatta is the last race of the season. The winds tend to pick up in October and the past few years this race has been a lively one. A separate set of trophies are awarded for 1^st through 3^rd place winners of the regatta.
